Chris Johnson Needs to Shut Up, Start Producing
Chris Johnson should learn to keep his boasts to himself and start making plays on the field.
The Tennessee Titans running back was shut out by the New England Patriots in Week 1, only days after Johnson's claim about being faster than Olympic gold medalist and fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, if the two were pitted against one another in the 40-yard dash (h/t ProFootballTalk.com).
Johnson only gained four yards on 11 carries in the game, though he did catch a handful of passes. From what I can tell, he'll have a hard time reaching 2,000 yards on the ground at his current pace (sarcasm included).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The only way Johnson turns this thing around in 2012 is if he stops yapping to the media and starts working on his game.
If he does manage to come back down to planet earth and starts playing with some focus and determination, the Titans have a chance to make the postseason. If Johnson continues to put himself above the team, which is what his recent comments have done, the Titans will not be able to win many ballgames.
If Johnson can't produce in the running game, then Jake Locker or Matt Hasselbeck will be forced to throw the ball far too often—a recipe for disaster. If the Titans have to rely on either of them to move the offense on a regular basis, turnovers will be plenty and the team's defense will end up playing far too many minutes and will eventually break down.
It's time for Johnson to start acting like a professional. If he's wise, he'll see that guys like Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson are now out of the NFL because they never learned to behave properly, and if he doesn't make a change, he'll be the next guy out of a job.
Teams don't have patience for a player who is all bark and no bite, and it's time for Johnson to change his ways or he'll become another footnote in NFL history books.
