Red Sox Place Curt Schilling On 60-Day DL
The Boston Red Sox have placed pitcher Curt Schilling on the 60-day DL.
Schilling, who is battling right-shoulder problems, has been only doing indoor exercises so far in spring training.
The Red Sox have no timetable for when the 41-year old Schilling is to start and begin a throwing program, it all depends on his shoulder responds to everything.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The best chance for Schilling to hopefully return to the Red Sox is by the All-Star break.
Schilling is going to be traveling with the Red Sox next week, when the team head's to Tokyo, as they prepare to open the 2008 season against the Oakland A's.
The reason the Red Sox made the move now, is so that they could make room for right-handed reliever Lincoln Holdzkom, who was brought back the organization as a free-agent.
Holdzkom, was picked-up by the Phillies in December in the Rule 5 Draft. However, the Phillies decided to over him back to the Red Sox.
But Holdzkom opted for free agency instead, as was his right to do so, and the Red Sox signed him to a Major League deal. He did report to Red Sox earlier today.
Holdzkom split the 2007 season between Double-A Portland (4-1, 3.47 ERA) and Triple-A Pawtucket (1-0, 1.59 ERA).
