NBA Playoff Schedule 2012: How to Find Celtics vs. Heat Game 7 Matchup
The two best words in all of sports are Game 7. The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat have been so kind as to provide the fans with just that on Saturday night, as they lock horns one more time to determine who will represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.
Looking to make their second consecutive trip to the Finals, the Heat have had to deal with constant media scrutiny in every possible way. None of that matters in this situation, as one win will make everyone forget what happened before.
The Celtics were supposed to be old and over the hill, as they looked slow when the season started. Yet here they are, with Kevin Garnett looking like the player who won the MVP award with Minnesota, trying to recapture their former glory one more time.

Of course, even in the spotlight of a Game 7, everything will be all about LeBron James. He just had one of the best performances of his career in Game 6, with 45 points, 15 rebounds and five assists, yet that won't matter unless he performs tonight.
Even with that dominant performance, there has been talk about what James will do in a close game late. The ways that people come up with excuses just to hate James is getting ridiculous. He also averages 36 points per game for his career in Game 7s, but that isn't good enough.
There have been so many storylines to come from this series that it almost feels like the NBA Finals almost feel like an afterthought. I'm sure the Oklahoma City Thunder will disagree with that assessment.
Regardless of the outcome, we could see the end of one era tonight. If the Heat lose, they could panic and make significant changes this offseason. If the Celtics lose, the youth movement will start a little sooner than they would have liked.
