Tim Tebow's Role with the New York Jets Remains a Giant Mystery
It's official: we won't know Tim Tebow's role until the end of the season.
Everyday it's something else. From option quarterback to upback to whatever other crazy ideas people have on how to utilize Tebow, so much has been made up to it that at this point, there is nothing left to say.
Tebowmania running wild? Who knew?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The latest news out of Florham Park has the MetLife Messiah at just one position in practice, and I bet you'll be shocked to know what it is: quarterback.
"When asked if he's been told he'll be used on special teams, Tebow said, "They haven't told me anything."
The Jets are still in the early phases of learning new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano's system. Coaches have only been permitted on the field with players for two weeks.
From what several players said, the Jets have been just working on the basics of the offense so far, not special packages such as the Wildcat or read-option plays Tebow could run.
"
The mystery continues. At least for now.
Tebow is a player of high utility and has the chance to make an even bigger impact in that role than Brad Smith did for the Jets during his time with the team.
Even when the Jets start installing those packages though, it still won't be clear exactly what Tebow's role is.
His exact role will only become clear on game day.
The coaching staff has kept all options open; head coach Rex Ryan wasn't shy about describing Tebow as a "football player," Tony Sparano was mum on Tebow's role in the offense and special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff was a bit more candid about his potential role on special teams.
The speculation has run the gamut, and at this point, there's little sense in talking about his role until we can actually get an idea for what that role will be. We won't get that idea until the Jets start doing something besides absolute basics, and even then, when and where he's used on game day is the only thing that will really matter.
Don't forget, though, that the only role Tebow is intimately familiar with is the one that Mark Sanchez currently possesses: starting quarterback.
But don't expect any of that to stop anyone from talking about his role, anyway.
