New York Giants: Jerry Reese Vows G-Men Aren't Done Yet in Free Agency
After the first two days of free agency in the NFL, the New York Giants have been relatively quiet.
They, in fact, have let some of their own players walk away, as Mario Manningham signed with the San Francisco 49ers and Aaron Ross with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Some of their own players have been shopping around, like Dave Tollefson and Jonathan Goff, and it wouldn't be surprising if they ended up signing elsewhere in 2012.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Then there were former Giant players like Kevin Boss, Jeremy Shockey and Steve Smith, who were linked as possible returns to the Giants.
Boss ended up signing with the Kansas City Chiefs, Smith signed with the St. Louis Rams, while Shockey, in the middle of a war of words with Amani Toomer, denounced any Giants interest through his Twitter account.
The Giants haven't made any more additions to their team after they brought in former Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennet on a one-year, $2.5 million deal.
But according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York, Giants general manager Jerry Reese said the team isn't done yet in free agency and might be looking for players on the market that might be more on the cheap.
A lot of the big names in free agency are off the board and there could be more players who might end up getting released before the start of training camp.
The Giants right now have about $2.5 million in cap space to work with, which isn't much. Eli Manning, David Diehl and David Baas all restructured their contracts to help free up space in free agency.
I honestly think the Giants are waiting for next month's NFL Draft to decide where they need to pursue free agents.
They still have needs at running back, linebacker and offensive line and the Giants are a team that is known for building through the draft.
They also have one of the best general managers in the sport in Reese who knows how to scout talent and how to find players that will help the Giants.
I have a hunch that Chase Blackburn may end up taking less money to stay with the Giants. He knows the Giants defensive system, he plays well in it, and while he's not a superstar, he's a solid player that can help out on defense and on special teams.
And given that Mike Tolbert and Michael Bush both signed elsewhere, Brandon Jacobs may end up coming back to the Giants for a lot less money.
So for now, it looks like the Giants will sit back and let the market develop itself, and then wait to make moves.
For any of those fans who are getting impatient and wondering when the Giants will do anything, don't sweat it.
After all, the Giants didn't just win two Super Bowls in five seasons by making bad, impulse decisions in free agency.
Stay tuned, Giants fans.
