Jaguars Can Save Franchise by Landing Tim Tebow If Peyton Manning Goes to Denver
One has to feel bad for Tim Tebow. He shocks the world, helps the Denver Broncos win the AFC West and throws one of the greatest touchdowns in team history in the AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but his job as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos is still not safe.
With the Broncos actively pursuing Peyton Manning, they will most likely have to bid farewell with Tebow if Manning chooses to make Denver his new home. The Jacksonville Jaguars will reportedly pursue Tim Tebow should Peyton Manning sign with the Broncos.
First of all, you can't blame the Broncos for pursuing Manning, even if John Elway guaranteed that Tebow had the starting job at training camp. By signing Manning, they become AFC West favorites instantly.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In that weak division, they could easily win 12-13 games. If they were able to win eight games with Tebow as quarterback, they can definitely win the division again and perhaps even get a bye week due to playing numerous games against weak teams in a watered down AFC.
This may be the Broncos' only chance to win big in the short term. At the same time, it's a good excuse for John Elway to trade Tebow without Broncos fans getting upset. Peyton Manning is not a bad consolation prize for losing Tim Tebow.
The biggest winner in all of this after the Broncos, though, are the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ever since the team came into the league back in 1995, they've been an eye sore in the NFL. Pretty much nothing exciting has happened to that franchise.
Instead, all they've been hearing are rumors and rumblings about moving to Los Angeles.
By landing Tim Tebow, new owner Shahid Khan saves the franchise from floundering.
If you've ever watched a Jags game in the last three or four years, it hasn't been difficult not to notice the empty green seats that infiltrate their venue. Bring in Tebow and those seats become filled up to maximum capacity at a premium level price.
The Jaguars become the most exciting team in Florida, if not the NFL. The team will be a part of weekly headlines.
After drafting Blaine Gabbert and quickly seeing that he's not the future of the franchise behind center, the Jags wouldn't mind bringing Tebow and at least bringing back the fan base.
Tebow's a Florida boy and has an unbelievably large following there because of his ties with the Florida Gators. In Jacksonville, people won't be debating whether Tebow should be the starter. They'll just be happy to watch something interesting on Sunday instead of the garbage they had been seeing for a decade and a half.
Finally, the Jaguars might actually be a solid fit for Tebow. They had the sixth-best defense this past year in the NFL so that will take plenty of pressure off Tebow. Also, they're a run-first team. They have the best running back in the game and they can run a "dump the ball off to Maurice Jones-Drew" type of offense.
They can use the ground-and-pound offense with Tebow and Jones-Drew to gain some yards. No, their receivers aren't elite, but they could possibly use the draft to fix that. Plus, with all of the excitement surrounding the team, it may motivate the rest of the players to play at a higher level.
It's hard playing every Sunday when there's no support for the team and there are more empty seats than fans. Tebow will bring a great deal of excitement in Jacksonville that will revitalize the franchise economically and on the field.
At the same time, Bronco fans won't be feeling too bad. They get Peyton Manning and a shot to go to the Super Bowl.
Everyone will win and be smiling at the end of the day.
