2012 NFL Free Agents: Why Seattle Would Be Horrific Choice for Peyton Manning
I should warn you, Seattle Seahawks fans: You probably aren't going to enjoy the premise of this article. That premise?
That Peyton Manning should stay far away from Seattle when making his decision on where to play next year.
It's not that I think the Seahawks are a bad team. They aren't. They're more of a middle-of-the-road team, which Manning could work with.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
What he would have a hard time working with, however, are the weapons on the team.
There is little appealing about Seattle's wide receivers. Sidney Rice is talented but injury prone. Golden Tate has shown potential but didn't exactly blow anyone away his rookie season, either. Mike Williams, Doug Baldwin and Zach Miller aren't exactly getting quarterbacks giddy, though they aren't terrible options.
And obviously Marshawn Lynch was incredible last year, though I'm not sure if he is the sort of running back best suited to play alongside Manning.
Plus, it rains a lot.
Compare that to Miami, which can offer Reggie Bush (who would be a perfect running back for Manning), Brandon Marshall, a brilliant offensive mind in new coach Joe Philbin and warm weather. Plus, Manning has a condo there already.
Other teams have more to offer as well.
The Arizona Cardinals have Larry Fitzgerald, which is all you really need to say. Long shots like the New York Jets, Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers have better rosters. While I don't think Manning would choose the Redskins, they'll probably offer the most money.
So no, I don't think Manning will be a Seahawk. Feel free to bash me in the comments now, Seattle fans.
