New England Patriots: Tom Brady's Career Takes Another Giant Hit
Despite all the success, including three Super Bowl rings, 40,000 passing yards, seven Pro Bowls and everything else under the sun he has accomplished—the huge blemish on Tom Brady's resume is the fact he could not beat the Giants when it mattered most.
After the New England Patriots' loss in Super Bowl XLVI, the question had arisen as to whether Brady still had the magic to march his team down the field when it mattered most. Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That's what happens when you play the quarterback position.
Brady has been the best quarterback in the NFL for the last decade. He is one of the best the game has ever seen. The fact that Eli Manning, who was criticized earlier in the season for comparing himself to Brady, took him down twice in the Super Bowl leaves a nasty taste in the mouths of Patriots' fans.
It's funny to think that with all of the success he has had during his illustrious career, Brady now has a monkey on his back. And that monkey is the New York Giants. It's dilemmas like these that define a career.
Phil Mickelson couldn't win a major championship. Kobe Bryant couldn't win a ring without Shaq.
Even though these mountains have been conquered, Brady is still waiting to get to the top of the colossal mountain that is the New York Giants.
At least he still has Giselle.
