Patriots vs. Ravens: Tom Brady May Have His Best Offense Yet
When the New England Patriots had Randy Moss breaking records during their 16-0 regular season in 2007, many considered that to be the best offense in the team's history.
Frankly, I think this year's unit has been even more dangerous, and that is why the Patriots should be headed to the Super Bowl after this Sunday.
In 2007, the Patriots got phenomenal years out of Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Brady threw for 4,806 yards, with 50 touchdowns and just eight interceptions, while boasting a quarterback rating of 117.2.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Meanwhile, Moss had 98 catches for 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns, and Welker had 112 receptions for 1,175 yards and eight scores. It was truly an outstanding offensive unit.
But this season, Brady completed 401 of 611 passes (65.6 percent) for a career-high 5,235 yards, with 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His passer rating of 105.6 ranked third in the league. But what I think makes this offense better is the litany of weapons at Brady's disposal.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski has emerged as the best in the league at his position. The second-year man out of Arizona blew up this season, racking up 90 catches for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns, which is an NFL record for a tight end. "Gronk" added three more scores in the Pats' 45-10 divisional round win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
In addition to Gronkowski, fellow second-year tight end Aaron Hernandez has been stellar as well. The Florida product finished the regular season with 70 catches for 910 yards and seven scores.
At receiver, Welker had a career year, leading the NFL in receptions (122) and finishing second in yards (1,569) while scoring nine touchdowns. And fellow receiver Deion Branch was solid, with 51 catches for 702 yards and five touchdowns.
Meanwhile, running backs BenJarvus Green-Ellis (667 yards, 11 touchdowns), Stevan Ridley (441 yards) and Danny Woodhead (351 yards) all contributed to the team's success.
This weekend, the Baltimore Ravens will face what I believe to be the Patriots' best offense ever. It is a deep, talented unit that has led the team to nine straight wins.
The fact that New England is so dominant on offense should help them get by Baltimore and give the team yet another AFC title.
