Report: Steve Spagnuolo's Return to Philadelphia Eagles Is Imminent
According to the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, as reported by nbcphiladelphia.com, former St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo, who was fired on Jan. 2 after going 10-38 in three years at the helm in St. Louis, will return to the Philadelphia Eagles as defensive coordinator this week.
The report, however, has not been confirmed by the Eagles.
Spagnuolo coached in Philadelphia from 1999 through 2006.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He began working with Philadelphia as a defensive assistant and held that role through 2000. From 2001 through 2003, he coached the defensive backs there.
In 2004, Spagnuolo took over as linebacker coach for the Eagles and remained in that position through 2006 before taking over as defensive coordinator for the New York Giants in 2007.
In 2008, Spagnuolo and his Giants' defense were largely credited for being a major key during that Super Bowl victory. Following the Super Bowl, Spagnuolo took over as the Rams head coach.
If reports prove accurate, Spagnuolo will go full circle in returning back to the Eagles to take over a defense that was inconsistent in 2011.
Earlier this week, Spagnuolo told Bryan Burwell of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he might consider taking the year off to do missionary work with his wife in Africa.
But, apparently, that will not be the case; it appears Spagnuolo is heading back to his NFL roots to once again coach for Andy Reid in the City of Brotherly Love.
