
Steelers' T.J. Watt Out of 2025 NFL Pro Bowl with Injury, Replaced by Ravens' Van Noy
The Pro Bowl Games are swapping in one AFC North pass-rusher for another, as T.J. Watt will be unable to participate due to an injury.
Baltimore Ravens defensive end Kyle Van Noy was named as Watt's replacement for the AFC squad.

Watt appeared in all 18 games this season, including the playoffs, but he was banged up at different times. He suffered an ankle injury in a Week 15 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and missed the first practice in the week leading up to their next game.
During the Steelers' Christmas Day loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, sideline reporter Melanie Collins noted on the Netflix broadcast that Watt was also dealing with an injury to his right thumb.
Watt's snap volume did go down in the final four weeks of the regular season. He played at least 85 percent of the defensive snaps in 11 of the first 13 games, with one game at 83 percent during that stretch.
Over the final four weeks of the regular season, Watt didn't play more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps in a single game. He was on the field for 63 out of 74 defensive snaps in the AFC Wild Card loss to the Ravens.
Watt, who was named a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday, finished the season with 27 quarterback hits, 19 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks in 17 starts.
Van Noy will be making his first appearance in the Pro Bowl after 11 seasons in the NFL. He recorded a career-high 12.5 sacks for the Ravens in 16 starts during the 2024 campaign.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place over two days on Jan. 30 and Feb. 2. The first day will feature a skills showdown, with a flag football game between the AFC and NFC on the second day.
