Davante Adams Rumors: Raiders 'Growing Open' to Idea of Trade; Team Gauging Interest
Despite owning a 2-2 record after Sunday's victory over the Cleveland Browns, the Las Vegas Raiders are at least open to exploring trade opportunities involving Davante Adams.
Per Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review Journal, the Raiders are "growing open" to the idea of a trade and have started reaching out to teams to gauge their interest in the star wide receiver.
This report comes on the heels of Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce liking an Instagram post from Sports Illustrated's Michael Fabiano on Monday saying that Adams may have "already played his last snap" with the team.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Appearing on Tuesday's episode of the Up and Adams show with Kay Adams, Davante said he hasn't heard anything from Pierce about the situation and he's only going to control the things in front of him:
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported on Tuesday afternoon that Adams has told Las Vegas that he prefers to play elsewhere, though no deal is "imminent."
There had been trade rumblings about Adams for more than a year, but he has consistently downplayed them. The three-time All-Pro told reporters in April that he wasn't looking to leave Las Vegas.
"If I wanted to be gone, I'd be gone by now," Adams said. "This is where I want to be."
There is a complicating factor in all of this speculation because Adams is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury suffered in a practice last week. He's considered week to week, and he told Adams he's "not sure" about playing in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos.
One person in the league told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sept. 28 that wide receivers and hamstring injuries are "are not a good combination."
Philadelphia Eagles wideout A.J. Brown has missed three straight games due to a hamstring injury he suffered during a practice leading up to Week 2.
The NFL trade deadline is 4 p.m. ET on Nov. 5. Adams is under contract through the 2026 season with base salaries of $35.6 million in each of the next two years after this season. He is making $16.9 million in base salary this season.
Adams has 209 yards and one touchdown on 18 receptions in three games.
