Undertaker Talks Whether He Could Have One More Match

TOP NEWS

Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event

The Undertaker retired following his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, but the WWE Hall of Famer has remained open about having the itch to wrestle again at times.

During an appearance on WWE Superstar Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast this week (beginning at the 38-minute mark), Taker discussed the internal struggle he has had since deciding to hang up his boots:

The Deadman mentioned the fact attending WWE shows has been a challenge for him at times since returning. While he enjoys talking to people backstage, he noticed that he usually has to leave after a couple of matches due to his conscience telling him that he should be out there wrestling.

Taker added that there is something in his mind that tells him, "You still got one in you somewhere," but when asked if he believes he really does have another match in him, The Undertaker replied, "I don't know. I think I took my body to the limits of what it could do."

As much as The Undertaker sometimes desires to wrestle again, he conceded that his involvement with WrestleMania 40 this year may have satiated him to some degree.

During the main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker made a surprise appearance and laid out The Rock with a chokeslam, which garnered him a massive reaction from the crowd.

While he didn't technically wrestle, The Undertaker said it helped him "a lot" to perform in some way on the WrestleMania stage again.

Even at 59 years of age, The Undertaker could likely still provide fans with something they would enjoy if he were to wrestle again, but he undoubtedly has nothing left to prove in the world of pro wrestling.

Reigns, Jordan Brand to Release Bloodline Sneakers

Roman Reigns and Jordan Brand are reportedly set to collaborate on a signature show release next year.

According to GQ's Calum Marsh, Reigns first announced his partnership with Jordan Brand in April, and it is set to result in Bloodline-branded sneakers hitting shelves in 2025.

After being off WWE programming for four months, Reigns made his long-awaited return last weekend at SummerSlam, interfering in the undisputed WWE Championship match between Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.

Rhodes attacked Sikoa in retaliation for Sikoa's comments about him and the fact that he attempted to take over as Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.

As pointed out by Marsh, Reigns was wearing Air Jordan 1 Retro Low x Trophy Room sneakers, which was perhaps a nod to his upcoming shoe release.

Reigns is now a massive babyface beloved by the WWE Universe, and that change comes at a perfect time since it will likely help him and Jordan Brand move even more product when his signature shoe drops.

The exact release date for Reigns' sneakers isn't yet known, but if Jordan Brand can possibly sync it up with next year's WrestleMania 41, it could be a home run for the company.

Hendry Wants Segment with The Rock

TNA's Joe Hendry has made a sizable impact in NXT as part of the working relationship between WWE and TNA, but he has his sights set on something even bigger.

During a recent interview on the Wrestling Matt (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), Hendry discussed his concert segment on last week's NXT and his desire to have a segment with The Rock at some point:

"I don't know if anything's gonna top that Rock concert in Toronto from The Rock. I appreciate the kind words. Maybe one day we'll see a guitar-off between myself and The Great One, who knows? We've already had me versus Elias. But I've just got a feeling me and The Rock are gonna have to cross paths at some point. To me, he's still got the No. 1 concert segment."

The Rock first popularized signing segments in pro wrestling with his famous Rock Concerts, and Hendry has followed in The Final Boss' footsteps in recent years.

A big reason for Hendry's popularity is his ability to put his talents as a singer and guitar player to use in songs that typically mock his rivals.

On last week's NXT, Hendry sung a song about Gallus, leading Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang to attack him and hit him with his own guitar.

WWE doesn't usually put wrestlers in a segment with The Rock unless they already are a huge star or have the potential to be one, but given Hendry's popularity, it may not be impossible for him to reach those heights.

For now, Hendry is splitting his time between TNA and NXT and making a big name for himself, and if he continues to create a buzz and get over with the audience, it won't be surprising if he signs with WWE on a full-time basis eventually.
