Report: Shohei Ohtani Will Remain on Dodgers' Active Roster amid MLB Investigation
Shohei Ohtani will not miss any time while MLB conducts an investigation into Ippei Mizuhara.
Alden Gonzalez of ESPN reported that "unless something dramatic happens" Ohtani will not be removed from the Los Angeles Dodgers active roster while it investigates the situation surrounding the two-time MVP and his role in his translator Mizuhara's alleged "massive theft" of Ohtani.

Ohtani fired Mizuhara earlier this week after the latter was accused of stealing $4.5 million from Ohtani to bet with an allegedly illegal bookmaker who had been targeted in a federal investigation.
Gonzalez elaborated by saying that "administrative leave only applies to the domestic-violence policy" and that while there are "other courses of action," Ohtani not having been accused of gambling personally and that there is no evidence "any party gambled on baseball probably helps him under MLB's scope at this point."
Ohtani's involvement stems from the money coming from his bank account via a wire transfer to bookmaker Matthew Bowyer, who is being investigated. Mizuhara has denied Ohtani having any involvement, telling ESPN's Tisha Thompson that Ohtani had "zero involvement in betting" and that he himself was not aware that what he was doing was illegal.
Ohtani notably does not have to be interviewed for the investigation, as he has protections under the MLBPA to refuse cooperation, as reported by T.J. Quinn of ESPN.
He just began his Dodgers tenure Wednesday during the team's Seoul Series against the San Diego Padres. He got three hits in 10 at-bats and drove in two runs as the Dodgers split the series with San Diego.
Barring any further developments, Ohtani will be ready for the next series after Los Angeles fully finishes spring training. This will come March 28 when the Dodgers host the St. Louis Cardinals.
