Knicks Rumors: Jalen Brunson Avoids Serious Knee Injury; Questionable vs. Hawks
Jalen Brunson went down with a scary injury on Sunday, but the New York Knicks star has reportedly avoided a serious knee injury.
Per SNY's Ian Begley, Brunson suffered a left knee contusion in Sunday's matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers and is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Knicks fans can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Brunson's injury isn't too serious and he will seemingly be back in action soon.

In his second year in New York, Brunson has emerged as a star, putting up a career-high 27.2 points per game and a career-high 6.6 assists per game. The 27-year-old also earned his first All-Star Game bid this season.
With Brunson leading them, the Knicks have gone a solid 36-25 to start the year, currently sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. New York reached the conference semifinals a year ago, and the Knicks are looking to take the next step and compete for an Eastern Conference championship for the first time in 24 years.
Having a healthy Brunson will be instrumental to that goal, and it appears he'll be back on the court soon.
After a hot start to 2024, New York has struggled over the past month, but the Knicks are looking for a late-season push to hold their position in the East. They will take on the Hawks on Tuesday to begin a four-game homestand.
