2012 NFL Draft Order: St Louis Rams and Teams Slated for Great Drafts
Barring an extreme brain cramp from the Indianapolis Colts, the St. Louis Rams have missed out on Andrew Luck, but that won't matter in the end.
The Rams are going to suffer through an upheaval as one of the worst seasons in the franchise gets addressed. The one good part is that they are about to get an infusion of youth that is sorely needed at this point.
The best-case scenario for the Rams would have been a first overall pick and then a constant ringing of the phone from teams that needed a quarterback like Andrew Luck.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Make no mistake, the Rams are fine with Sam Bradford. They wouldn't have taken Luck anyway, only dealt the pick for a package of goodies.
Now they simply get the one player that can help them instead of a few of them. Here is how they still managed to luck out, along with a couple other teams that will be all smiles on draft day.
St. Louis Rams
The Rams need a great many things but will settle on not allowing Sam Bradford into David Carr redux. The Rams offensive line needs a boost, and the best player out there for such a job is USC's Matt Kalil.
Kalil has a perfect combination of size and balance, making him a perfect blocker on the blind side. He will give Bradford a great deal of comfort that went missing in 2011.
Cleveland Browns: It was a dark day when Madden 12 showed Peyton Hillis on the cover. It was only a matter of time before the ugly stuff really hit the fan.
No worries, the best running back in the nation is here to keep the Browns moving for the next few years in Trent Richardson.
Washington Redskins: The way I have it breaking down, the Washington Redskins at No. 6 get the second-best quarterback out there.
Robert Griffin III is a wonderful athlete and even better personality, just what this franchise needs.
