Who would like to be a scout?

I'm sure most of us would agree that the idea of becoming an NFL scout for any professional team would be most rewarding.

So let's play the role of the Eagles' scout for a moment.

I want to turn the attention to a profound athlete that would elevate the level of the Philadelphia Eagles defense overall.

His name is Taylor Mays.

Taylor Mays was born in Seattle Washington. Son of Stafford Mays a linebacker in his  hey days. Taylor Mays bleeds football. At the age of 14 years old, Taylor would do his homework with his helmet on every night.

While developing as a player at the college level, Taylor had his chance to shine. After a season injury to Josh Pinkard, Taylor had his debut as a safety at the college level, and the rest was history!

Taylor Mays is 6'3" , 233 pounds, and ran a 4.33 during the combine. He has received pac 10 honors three times.  He has phenomenal hands, speed, and intelligence to compliment his overall skills.

This would be a fantastic pick up for the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round.

On the whole, I'm excited about the draft, and hope the Eagles choose wisely.

Cheers!
