The 2010-2011 NBA season could very well be the year for Oklahoma's young Thunder. The team is currently 32-21 after spoiling the great return of Tracy McGrady, and only a game and a half back from the four seed in the Western Conference. The team is maturing together led by a young superstar in Kevin Durant. However, the team will need to sign or draft another big man to possibly have the best starting five in the league (Westbrook, Durant, Harden, Green, ?). Also, most likely next year or even before the conclusion of this year we will see the transtition of James Harden from sixth man to starter. But this will leave the team in a position without much depth off the bench. Thabo Sefolosha could make for a decent bench player, but the team will also need to make a move for a solid player or two who can score a couple points, and keep the team in the game while Durant and the other young starters catch a breathe.

As far as Kevin Durant goes, I think he needs to do a lot of lifting such as a young Kevin Garnett did to really make himself a legitimate rebounder, which is a stat that the team does not need too much help in, (3rd in the league behind only Chicago and LA Lakers) but if so they could be a dominant rebounding team who gets second chance buckets, but at the same time eliminates those second chance shots from their opponents. If Durant continues to improve, and can muscle up, he very well could grow to be the best player in the league. Plus, with a team of this caliber there could be championship(s) in their future.

I personally predict that next season winning the MVP, and scoring title will be Kevin Durant, and also the Bolts will make it and in the 2011 NBA Finals
