Pro Bowl Roster 2012: Eli Manning and Quarterbacks Who Will Be Snubbed
The NFL Pro Bowl is a joke and is the worst All-Star game in sports, but that doesn't mean players who don't get selected for it aren't angry when they are unfairly left off the team.
With the NFL becoming a more pass-oriented league, the quarterbacks more than ever are the stars of the show. So many quarterbacks had great seasons this year, and several of them, including Eli Manning of the New York Giants, will be left of the pro bowl rosters.
Let's take a look at three quarterbacks who will be snubbed in this year's unveiling of the AFC and NFL Pro Bowl rosters.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Detroit Lions quarterback has thrown for 36 touchdowns with 14 interceptions this season and has racked up 4,518 through 15 games.
Despite his remarkable stats and the fact that he has led the Lions to their first playoff appearance since 1999, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton will all receive Pro Bowl roster spots before him.
Brees and Rodgers are automatics for the roster, and while Newton's Carolina Panthers team has struggled this year, he has had the best rookie season of any quarterback in NFL history. That will be tough for voters to ignore.
2. Tony Romo
Tony Romo has played well for the Dallas Cowboys this season and has thrown 21 touchdown passes with only nine interceptions.
He also has thrown for just under 3,900 yards, and his completion percentage is over 65 percent. Unfortunately, like Stafford, Romo won't make the Pro Bowl because of Rodgers, Brees and Newton.
It's too bad, because Romo has been exceptional in the second half of the season. He has a chance to get the Cowboys into the playoffs with a Week 17 win over the Giants despite dealing with injuries to his best offensive weapons all year.
3.Eli Manning
Eli Manning has been spectacular in the fourth quarters of games this season, and he even out-dueled New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the fourth quarter this year.
Manning's 4,587 yards passing this season are almost 600 more than his career high, and he has thrown 26 touchdown passes through 15 games, which is the third highest of his career.
Manning's spectacular season will unfortunately go unnoticed in the Pro Bowl due to the fact there are some more deserving players ahead of him, and guys like Stafford have 10 more touchdown passes this year.
Manning could have the last laugh, though, if his Giants get into the playoffs, because he is a quarterback that teams don't want to face in January.
