Jim Tressel Show-Cause: Could the Miami Dolphins Hire the Scandalous Coach?
It is safe to say that Jim Tressel's college coaching career is over.
The NCAA released a statement today that said Tressel received a five-year "show-cause," which essentially mean he can't coach in the college ranks for five years. By the time his ban is lifted, he will be in his late 60s, and recruiting will be very difficult for him.
Tressel went 94-22 in his 10 seasons at Ohio State before he resigned after he knew that five of his players had received improper benefits, but still did not inform the NCAA or Ohio State.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He is currently employed as a consultant for the Indianapolis Colts.
With the Dolphins currently having a coaching vacancy, and their top two targets, Bill Cowher and Jon Gruden wanting to remain in broadcasting, Tressel would be a wise choice for Miami.
The Dolphins are flat-out boring to watch on offense, with the exception of Reggie Bush, and can't score touchdowns in the red zone.
With all of the talent on that roster, that is unacceptable.
Tressel would bring a veteran experience to the Miami and could help make the offense more dynamic, something they need when they face the Patriots and Jets twice a year.
Tressel led the Buckeyes to three National Championship Game berths and developed Troy Smith and Terrelle Pryor into two of the top quarterbacks in the nation.
With the talent Miami has, coupled with Tressel's leadership, the Dolphins could once again be a force in the NFL.
