WWE TLC 2011 Results: Kevin Nash Proves He Doesn't Belong in WWE

Adam WellsDec 19, 2011

Going into TLC, expectations were not high for the ladder match featuring Kevin Nash and Triple H. If you saw the match, it is easy to see why. It was a disaster in every possible way, with the biggest problem being that it was far too long. But at least it appeared to be the end of the latest Nash run in WWE.

If you didn't see it, Triple H beat Nash down with the sledgehammer after pulling it down from the ladder. But Nash actually tried to do some stuff. He went through a table off a ladder, which was an amazing sight to see since I figured there was no way he would do anything like that.

But overall, this match was just terrible. Nash has no idea how to take a pedigree, which made him and Triple H look ridiculous when he went down despite completely ruining the move.

The whole match seemed to signal that Nash was one-and-done, at least as far as wrestling in WWE goes. He has been doing some movies in the past few months, which means that he doesn't need wrestling anymore.

All I can say is that if Nash really is gone, it could not have come at a better time. He has brought nothing to the product, and in fact he has been more of a detriment to everything that he has been involved in than anything else.

WWE does not need to keep relying on old, slow workers that have no idea what it takes to actually sell a match in 2011.

Nash was once an effective performer because he knew how to talk, but this latest run even exposed how out of the loop he is. He was getting handed his lunch on a weekly basis by CM Punk whenever he tried to tell him off.

Frankly, the last four months with Nash have been sad to see. Here was a wrestler who was one of the biggest stars in WCW back when that company was on fire. He was a part of the most famous stable this sports has seen in the last 20 years, but now he was a shell of his former self.

Nothing that Nash did worked. He had no presence on the microphone, the fans did not care about him at all, and the few matches that he did have bombed because it was obvious that he was done.

Most wrestlers prefer to go out on a high note if they are afforded the luxury, but Nash will end his latest run in WWE as a failure.
