WWE TLC 2011: Possible Plans for John Cena at Sunday's Pay-Per-View Revealed
John Cena is not currently scheduled to compete at this Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view, which would mark the first PPV since Survivor Series 2010 where he was healthy but didn’t wrestle.
Given the way Cena was attacked by Kane at the conclusion of Monday’s Raw, I suppose we could see Cena held off TLC in order to sell the devastating chokeslam from The Big Red Monster.
I doubt it, though.

Like most fans, I don’t see the WWE leaving Cena off a pay-per-view.
On that note, according to F4Wonline.com (via WrestleZone.com), it looks like Cena will indeed be appearing at WWE TLC:
"There has been talk of making John Cena the special referee for the United States Title Match between Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder according to F4Wonline.com. A stipulation may be in place for that match to where Cena gets added to the WWE Title main event against CM Punk, The Miz and Alberto Del Rio, making it a four-way.
"
Does anyone really think Cena is going to be left off a WWE pay-per-view when he’s not hurt or injured?
Hell no.
Given the report by F4Wonline.com, I think the most likely situation is that Raw interim general manager John Laurinaitis will appoint Cena as the special guest referee. That is, with the stipulation that he will be added to the WWE championship match if he calls the bout between Ziggler and Ryder down the middle.
It could add another interesting twist to Cena’s ongoing storyline to see if he’s more worried about helping out his buddy Ryder or his own WWE championship aspirations.
I just don’t see any other way that Cena could legitimately be added to the WWE title match without causing an uproar among fans. At the same time, I don’t think the WWE wants to just give Cena a spot in the match because that’s going to get him even more heat than he already gets.
Perhaps the WWE will have Cena as the guest referee in the US title match, have him be impartial and then be added to the Fatal 4-Way for the WWE championship (especially when you consider that he's advertised for a similar match shortly after the PPV).
During that match, Kane can interfere and lay Cena out for a second time, furthering the storyline between those two.
In that scenario, everyone goes home happy. The WWE would get its poster child in its biggest match of the night, but the anti-Cena fans would get to see Cena demolished yet again by The Big Red Monster.
