Dallas Cowboys: Championship Teams Make Game-Winning Plays, Not Excuses
Championship teams win these kinds of games. When they are up by 12 with six minutes left, their focus is getting another score.
They are not in awe of the four touchdowns their quarterback has thrown. They are not thinking about the expanding divisional lead that they already own. They are not pumping up the crowd and thinking about the after party.
They are not doing the things that the Dallas Cowboys are doing.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
These Dallas Cowboys will absolutely not win a championship with their current state of mind. This is NOT necessarily a knock on this current set of players, nor on the coaches. It's a plea for this team to play like winners, to play to win the game.
In years or weeks past, Tony Romo had been the center of criticism. He was the reason we lost games. Then, last week it was Jason Garrett. Then this week it will be the poor secondary play.
Excuses jack up media attention and they simply become a scapegoat for a team. These Dallas Cowboys are becoming chronic losers, and are finding new mind-boggling ways to lose games on Sundays.
These Cowboys are very content making the playoffs. And at this rate, it might not even happen. With two more divisional games left, they could be left on the outside looking in.
Let's wait and see what happens next week in Tampa Bay. Maybe we will lose on a safety next week. Maybe when Philly comes, a fumble will doom these Cowboys. And when Dallas finishes the season in New York, maybe Tony throws the game away, or Jason ices his own kicker, or some other excuse like “December” becomes the next headline.
These Dallas Cowboys are simply not champions.
