James Loney: Dodgers Star Crashes Maserati and Goes Completely Crazy
Los Angeles Dodgers' first baseman James Loney went insane on November 14 of this year, according to TMZ.
They are alleging that Loney, a first-round draft pick in 2006, was arrested and spent time in a hospital that night for some outlandish behavior.
Just look at some of the things he apparently did.

It all started around 6 p.m. when his Maserati smashed into a Toyota and then continued its out-of-control path into a Mercedes and a Mini as well.
The cops approached the Maserati and found Loney inside behaving "restless, unsteady, aggressive and irritable" and looking like he “exhibited eyelid tremors and his shirt was soiled and moist from perspiration, from his armpits down to his waistline."
Other highlights include him thinking it was July 15 when it was Nov. 14, spitting the mouthpiece of a breathalyzer test right back at the officer that tried to administer it, and being taken to a hospital where he was restrained and given an unnamed injection to calm him down.
Seriously, all of this around 6 p.m.?
You’d think Loney must have been losing his mind and doing a bunch of drugs to cope with the fact that he is a major bust and a waste of a first-round pick.
The strangest part about the story is that the blood sample the cops got from him while he was in the hospital turned up negative for drugs and alcohol.
So Loney acts like this sober? What a maniac.
I’m not sure what possessed him to crash into three cars and act like a crazy, perspiring hooligan while stone cold sober, but I’m thinking they should have tested that blood again to make sure, and maybe for steroids while they were at it.
Those reckless actions could have seriously injured someone and crashing a Maserati into a Toyota just doesn’t add up.
Loney was never charged for these incidents and I don't think the Dodgers or the police know what to make of it.
