Dolphins vs. Raiders: 4 Halftime Adjustments for Miami
The Dolphins have held down the home field in the first half, shutting out Oakland 13-0 heading into the locker room. Despite having a big lead, there are several halftime adjustments Miami can make to bolster their chances at a win.
1. Score in the Red Zone
The Dolphins have made several strong drives downfield only to end up with a field goal for their troubles. An inability to score in the red zone cost the Dolphins a win last week against Dallas, and could put them at risk in the second half if the Raider's offense starts to pick things up.

2. Watch the Penalties
The Dolphins are the least-penalized team in the league, but you wouldn’t know that from watching them today. It’s unacceptable for Miami to be out-pacing the Raiders in the yellow flag department.
3. Run Early
The Dolphins have elected to pass on almost all of their first downs. Even though Matt Moore has played pretty well, it might not be a bad idea to involve Reggie Bush on early downs. Miami’s lead back has ravaged Oakland on the edges, running around tackles for big gains.
4. Get in the Game
Miscommunication and mental errors have slowed down several of Miami’s drives and must be avoided moving forward. The deficit in this game could be a lot bigger than what it is right now.
