Week 13 Fantasy Rankings: Plaxico Burress and Best Flex Options
The flex position in fantasy football can be one of the most difficult decisions a player has to make because there are so many options.
If you make the wrong move, it could be the sole reason you lose your fantasy football matchup. Nobody likes to lose, especially against family, friends and co-workers.
Running backs and receivers are the prime targets to start at the flex position, unless you're in a funky league that forces you to start a tight end and sometimes even a quarterback.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are the three best flex options for Week 13. As always, feel free to leave a comment with any fantasy advice you might need.
Plaxico Burress, WR
Since he is one of the best red-zone targets in the league, Burress is a definite start on Sunday. He and Mark Sanchez continue to develop a great connection, and it is showing more and more.
The Jets will travel this week to take on the Washington Redskins, who are breathing a sigh of relief after ending their six game losing streak. However, in the past two weeks combined, they've given up three touchdown passes in goal-line situations.
This bodes well for Burress, as he will find the end zone on Sunday. Yes, the Redskins have a Top 10 pass defense, but when it comes to the red zone, they don't have much of an answer for Burress, which is why he is a solid flex option for Week 13.
DeAngelo Williams, RB
The Carolina Panthers best running back (besides QB Cam Newton) finally broke open a big game last week, scoring two touchdowns and carrying the ball a season high 15 times.
Williams will keep getting opportunities this week because the Panthers take on the slumping Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who happen to rank 30th in the NFL against the run, as well as second to last in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs. The Panthers are actually dead last, which means LeGarrette Blount is also a must-start, but he's proven worthy of that for the last few weeks.
Carolina won't stray from the run, as it will help Newton in the passing game. With Williams feeling confident, he'll keep up the good work and play at a high level on Sunday.
Eric Decker, WR
The Denver Tebows, I mean Broncos, will hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings, who rank 29th in the league against the pass. The Vikings have a solid run defense, which means they will be forcing Tim Tebow to air it out much more.
Sure, he may not be the best QB out there, but he and Decker are gaining stronger chemistry as the weeks go by, and the second-year receiver out of Minnesota will not disappoint in his home state.
Always a threat for the big play, Tebow will connect with Decker on the deep ball, which will boost his fantasy production greatly. Decker is a risk, as Tebow is known for struggling in the passing game, but the potential reward makes him worth the start.
Other solid flex options for this week include wide receiver Mike Williams of the Buccaneers, wide receiver Doug Baldwin of the Seattle Seahawks (because he's now the prime target for Tavaris Jackson), running back Mark Ingram of the New Orleans Saints and running back Roy Helu of the Redskins.
