Florida Atlantic vs. Kansas: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
While Florida Atlantic is a solid college basketball team, this matchup is all about the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas has stumbled out of the starting blocks, starting 3-2.
The Jayhawks have the talent to become the top team in the nation, but the young team needs to find continuity before they can do any serious damage in the regular season or heading into March Madness.

With neither team playing anywhere near what could be considered solid defense right now, I expect Kansas and Florida Atlantic to stack points in this game. While I believe they will go over, I do not think Kansas will win by 19 points.
The Jayhawks haven’t found their stride yet and Florida Atlantic is better than they get credit for.
Injuries
Kansas
Ben McLemore out for season (eligibility).
Jamari Traylor out for season (eligibility).
Florida Atlantic
Greg Gantt is upgraded to probable Wednesday vs. Kansas (ankle).
What They’re Saying
Jayhawks head coach Bill Self told the Kansas City Star about their issues with the bench:
"We’re just playing our starters entirely too many minutes, especially Thomas (Robinson) and Tyshawn (Taylor). We’ve got to get Naadir (Tharpe) and Kevin (Young) to be able to give you some minutes off the bench. We didn’t have any problems playing our bench against Towson. I really wanted to win that championship in Maui, and I think coach (Mike) Krzyzewski did, too, because his bench played (the same) as ours. When it really got down to it, we were just trying to win the game. Now, moving forward, we have to try to develop guys and develop a bench.
"
Key Matchup: Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor vs. Fla. Atlantic’s Defense
Florida Atlantic has already been involved in many dogfights early in the season, losing by less than six points in all but one of their four losses.
For the Owls to have a chance at beating the Jayhawks, they need to stifle the two major threats for Kansas; Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor. If that tandem gets off the way they have early in the season, it will be a long game for Florida Atlantic.
Prediction: Kansas 82, Florida Atlantic 72
