
UConn's 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule Reportedly Revealed After Final Four Run
Coming off a third appearance in the national title game in the past four years last season, Connecticut is not taking its foot off the gas pedal with the release of its 2026-27 non-conference schedule.
The Huskies reportedly finalized their schedule for next season, which includes neutral-site matchups with Michigan, Duke, Illinois and Virginia, home games against Ohio State and Kansas and a road matchup with Arizona.

Based on very early top-25 rankings for next season from B/R's Kerry Miller, six of the seven teams on UConn's schedule are projected to be in the top 20.
Michigan, coming off a win over Connecticut in the national title game, is projected as the No. 1 team in the nation. Duke is second, followed by Arizona at three, Illinois at four, Kansas at nine and Virginia at 20.
Kansas was included in the "next in line" group just outside of the top 25.
Duke, Michigan and Illinois are all ranked in the top 10 recruiting classes for next season, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
A difficult non-conference schedule has been a hallmark for the Huskies in recent years. They have ranked in the top 10 in non-conference strength of schedule three times in the previous four years.
Those three seasons coincide with UConn's three trips to the national title game, including the back-to-back wins in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
One of the big questions for Hurley and his staff going into next season is replacing Tarris Reed Jr. and Alex Karaban. They were the top two scorers for the Huskies last season, averaging a combined 27.9 points and 14.3 rebounds per game.
Colben Landrew and Junior County are the incoming freshman for Connecticut. The program also added Najai Hines, Oskar Giltay and Nikolas Khamenia via the transfer portal.
The rematch of the national title game between UConn and Michigan is scheduled to be played at TD Garden in Boston on Nov. 6.
Connecticut has won at least 30 games in three of the last four seasons. The program has appeared in the NCAA tournament in each of the previous six seasons, the longest streak in program history.
