Austin Rivers Challenges Draymond Green to 1-on-1 Game in New Video amid Viral Beef with NBA Star

Austin Rivers is ready to take his ongoing beef with Draymond Green to the court for a one-on-one game.

The former NBA player, who has engaged in multiple back-and-forths with the Golden State Warriors forward over the past week, responded to comments from Green on Thursday before challenging the "Hall of Famer" to a one-on-one game.

"He's a first ballot Hall of Famer, and he deserves that because he put in the work as his role," Rivers said. "There's a difference between being a star and being a star in your role. Draymond was a star in his role, one of the best at it. He talks too loose and he talks with conceit in his voice when he tries to come at other players as if he's better than them.

"No, you have achieved more because you were a star in your role and a cast that Steve [Kerr]—'the guy that hindered your career'—placed you in and helped you and embraced you with a bunch of guys on a very talented team, one of the greatest teams ever assembled, that Warriors team. That's why he's in the Hall of Fame and he deserves to be in.

"But when you start talking how he did with Charles or he starts talking about me, belittling my stuff or other players, whoa whoa Dray. You talking about you need to play Naz [Reid] one-on-one. Motherf--ker, why don't you play me one-on-one, Draymond? You can't do no handoffs in one-on-one, you can't set no pick-and-roll in one-on-one. So all that extra talk is BS."

Green recently turned heads when he suggested Kerr "hindered" his offensive game over the course of his career because of the defense-first and facilitating roles he was put in after he was a star at Michigan State. However, he also explained he has nothing but love for Kerr and understands the coach helped him reach a championship level in the NBA.

Rivers took some issue with those comments, which inspired more of the back-and-forth with Green saying he received one of the "biggest bailouts in U.S. history" while also disparaging his game:

Unsurprisingly, Rivers took exception to that and responded in kind.

At least Green can take solace knowing Rivers thinks he's a Hall of Famer even if he doesn't take up that one-on-one challenge.
