Kimbo Slice and "Rampage" Jackson May Jump From Octagon to Squared Circle
For Every Lesnar and Lashley, There's a Kimbo and a Rampage
The sports world is captivated by the octagon success of former WWE stand-out Brock Lesnar. So much that even his haters are already planning a match between him and recent victor (and fellow WWE alum) Bobby Lashley.
But wrestling fans should not be concerned about those who are leaving for the rising world of MMA. Instead, they should be excited about the possibilities of those who might be coming the other way.

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Why would a fighter leave the hottest thing in sports for the world of wrestling? Does money and fame sound convincing enough? If you think they already have that, you'd be correct, but not at the level of the top WWE star. Check out those who might be looking to step inside a different type of cage.
Kimbo Slice
Although his reputation has been destroyed in the fight world, he could still be a beast in the wrestling world. Wrestling fans would be very forgiving of the rumors that his fights were fixed and would quickly except him as a reigning bad boy.
Kimbo's name has said to be thrown around during the WWE's creative meetings. With a good story line, Vince McMahon might welcome the street fighter with open arms.
Tito Ortiz
Speaking of bad boys, this Huntington Beach product has already made an appearance inside a wrestling ring (for WWE-competitor TNA) on two occassions, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him sign on for a multi-year deal.
Tito's MMA career is winding down and although it wouldn't be impossible for him to return to the UFC, there are only a few good fights left in him. It's no secret Ortiz loves attention and there's no better way to get that, and the money he feels due, than with a jump to the WWE.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
There might not be a bigger wrestling fan in MMA than "Rampage." Jackson loves wrestling so much that he pays homage to it before and after every fight.
Ever wonder why he wears that thick chain around his neck? Or why he howls with every victory? It's all to show respect and feel the thunder that was the Junk Yard Dog, his favorite pro grappler.
It's been a difficult year for Jackson, and if he takes a third loss to Wanderlei Silva, he may be looking for other opportunities. Now I'm not foolish enough to think he'll drop the gloves immediately and run for the squared circle. But just as some fighters have taken to filming movies in between fights, don't be surprised if Rampage steps in the ring.
And lets say Jackson wins in decisive fashion, McMahon is always looking for a cross-over star to feature at Wrestlemania. Usually the WWE looks to boxing, as Shane is an avid fan, but give it two years time and we could see the new light heavyweight champ in the ring.
Those are a few realistic possibilities, here are a few I'd like to see make the jump.
Wanderlei Silva
He has the look to make it huge in pro wrestling. Could you imagine him standing toe-to-toe with Triple H? Me neither. Triple H would bolt from the arena faster than Justin Roberts could introduce The Axe Muderer.
Keith Jardine
Everyone knows that McMahon loves tall, freaky-looking athletes. At 6'2" Jardine won't be a giant in the wrestling world, but one out of two isn't bad.
Chris Leban
This kid is absolutely nuts, and that's just what the WWE needs. Wrestling was at its best when it featured characters who didn't care about the rules and did what they wanted, i.e. Stone Cold Steve Austin and the super-groups NWO and D-Generation X. Although he might have to change his name for sensitivity reasons, I hear 'Crazy' Chris is available.
