WWE Vintage: One of the Coolest Shows You May Not Be Watching
Hello, fellow Bleachers! Today I'm going to do a quick piece on a show that airs here in Canada on the weekends.
Many of you may already be watching it, some of you may have only heard of it, and some may never have heard of it at all. I'm talking about WWE Vintage Collection.
The series began in 2008 and features classic matches from the WWE library. I'm supposing it's along the same lines as WWE Classics on Demand. According to Wikipedia, it is not only broadcast here in Canada, but also the UK, Ireland, South Africa the Middle East, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, India and Pakistan. It is an hour-long show hosted by "Mean" Gene Okerlund that generally has a theme running throughout.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
For example, this past week, Vintage started a run of what is to be a few episodes that showcase current WWE stars talking about what former stars inspired them to pursue the wrestling dream.
Daniel Bryan spoke of William Regal, Kofi Kingston spoke of Ricky Steamboat and the Miz spoke of the Ultimate Warrior. After each current star spoke of who inspired them, we got to see a match showcasing their inspiration.
Vintage has also run shows focusing on different titles and some history surrounding them which is always nice to see in this day and age where the titles have lost a lot of their prestige.
Vintage will also run holiday-themed shows during certain times of year (e.g. Christmas, Halloween, etc.), build up to events such as SummerSlam and Survivor Series and will showcase matches from events along the same lines from WCW, such as Bash at the Beach.
I look forward to the show every week, as it can be very informative on elements of different wrestling organizations that now fall under the WWE umbrella that I was unable to see before I had cable TV. It also has shown matches from before I was even born.
So, if you are looking for a dose of nostalgia, some insight into the minds of current stars, or just want more wrestling in your life, if you have the means, start watching WWE Vintage.
Thanks for reading!
