Ndamukong Suh Stomp Video: Roger Goodell Must Suspend Lions' Defensive Stud
Ndamukong Suh needs to be a taught a lesson, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is just the man to do it by suspending the Detroit Lions' top defensive player.
It's no secret that Goodell has cracked down on the NFL, but if he doesn't suspend Suh, fans have every right to criticize him. It's one thing to fine a player, but taking it to the point where they aren't allowed to play the game sends a very clear message.
Suh has no quarrels with being labeled as a dirty player, as he claims he plays the game with a high motor and great intensity. While that definitely is the truth, Suh has taken it a step farther with his latest actions.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Lions were battling the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving day, which only added more fuel to the fire of the big NFL rivalry. If you haven't seen why Suh was ejected from the game, check out the video below and judge for yourself if he should be suspended or not.
The slamming of the head is wrong and grounds for a personal foul, but the clear stomp on Green Bay's Evan Dietrich-Smith is a whole different matter. It's obvious that Dietrich-Smith is helpless, and nobody would say anything if he was extremely outraged over the incident.
The biggest problem with this ordeal is that Suh feels he did nothing wrong. He was in complete denial when talking to reporters about the incident. Per ESPN:
"I was on top of a guy, being pulled down, and trying to get up off the ground -- and why you see me pushing his helmet down, because I'm trying to remove myself from the situation, and as I'm getting up, I'm getting pushed, so I'm getting myself on balance.
"
He must not have seen the video before he said that. Oftentimes, our brain will make us believe one thing really happened when the reality is that something completely different occurred.
Like yesterday, when you claim you didn't eat too much, when really you consumed enough for two.
Our mind plays tricks on us, and that appears to be the case with Suh. Hopefully, he's seen the video of the play by now. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to hear his true thoughts.
Several people feel that Suh should serve a punishment, and they are absolutely correct. Mike Pereira, the former VP of officiating in the NFL, tweeted yesterday why Suh has put himself in deeper water.
Of course, others disagree entirely, saying a hefty fine would do justice.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen tweeted his opinion on what should happen to Suh.
Mort knows a lot about the NFL, but he fails to realize that a huge fine does Suh no harm. The man is filthy rich—taking away some of his money isn't harsh enough. Yes, nobody likes to lose money, but a fine doesn't speak loud enough.
If Goodell really wants to get into Suh's head, he must force him to sit out a game and perhaps he'll get the message loud and clear.
Suh will of course be angry if suspended, but he needs to grow up. This was a childish move on his part, especially the denial.
He is never going to change the way he plays, but suspending him will give him extra time to think about what he did and how it was wrong.
