WWE: CM Punk, Kevin Nash, John Cena and Tuesday's Top WWE News
It turns out that all WWE needed was for Survivor Series to end and Raw would go back to being a good show.
After a terrible build to one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year, we were treated to the best episode of Raw in a long time. There were good matches with clean finishes and no pointless, counterproductive angles.
It was a fun wrestling show—and that is something we have not seen in a long time.

As always, there were plenty of stories coming out of that show. We will run down all the WWE news from last night's show and get you ready for next week with our Daily Radar feature.
CM Punk's Second Title Reign Is Already Better Than His First
CM Punk kicked off last night's show with a strong promo about how Survivor Series was so special to him and how the game of hot potato that has been played with the WWE championship all year is going to end. Then John Laurinaitis came out to suck all the air out of the building.
Question on Everybody's Mind
Is CM Punk strong enough to carry the company?
Our Take
With John Cena doing nothing and not caring about it, why not?
Punk was on his way to superstardom before WWE screwed up the angle after Money In the Bank. He has to be booked much better than he has the last three months, but he can be a difference-maker.

Five out of five "We Want Ice Cream" Chants
CM Punk has had no problems on the microphone, and whenever he steps in the ring to wrestle, he always has good matches.
With him holding the championship, there is some small glimmer of hope that the prestige can be brought back to the belt.

Kevin Nash Still Sucks
Speaking of people sucking the air out of the building, Kevin Nash showed up on Raw to say more stuff about Triple H that no one cares about.
He did admit that he was backstage at Survivor Series, and I just want to applaud the creative team for keeping him off that show.
Question on Everybody's Mind
How much longer do we have to watch the train wreck that is Nash?
Our Take
Considering Nash's injury history, lack of reaction from the crowd and general terribleness in the ring, I would be willing to bet that he is off television as soon as he and Triple H have their long-gestating, not-so-anticipated match at TLC.

Two out of five Echoes of Silence When Nash Enters An Arena
The only thing that Nash has ever been good at is cutting promos, and this current run in WWE has shown just how horrible he is at that in his old age. The fans die whenever he comes out, there is no reaction, no one wants to see him on the screen.

John Cena Doesn't Care Anymore
Never one to let results or storylines get in the way of a happy face, John Cena came out on Raw last night to say that he didn't care about The Rock making him look like a dork after their tag team match at Survivor Series.
Question on Everybody's Mind
Has John Cena completely lost sight of reality?
Our Take
Perhaps in Cena's world, where everything is all sunshine, smiles and happy faces, he is doing great work.
To those of us who pay attention to the shows and results, he is killing the product by burying talent, not caring about results and coming off as a mindless drone when he opens his mouth.

Four out of five "Cena Has Lady Parts" Chants
Just the name John Cena is enough to make you shudder in horror, because he is doing the rest of the company a disservice by not caring about anything that happens.
He is the face of WWE and everything revolves around him. When he is good, business is good. When he is bad, business is bad.

R-Truth Suspended for Messing with Pigeons
The break-up of Awesome Truth makes more sense today, as it was announced that R-Truth has been suspended for 30 days due to a Wellness Policy violation.
Perhaps he was actually talking to those pigeons in New York on Sunday.
Question on Everybody's Mind
Will the Little Jimmies ever recover?
Our Take
In a weird way, this is probably a good thing for The Miz. The booking of him and Truth over the last month has been horrid, so to get him back on his own might give the creative team some incentive to make him look strong.

Five out of five What Was That Dude Smokin'?
The WWE Wellness Policy is a joke to begin with, and it is even worse when good performers—R-Truth, Evan Bourne—get thrown under the bus just as they are starting to connect with the crowd one way or another.

WWE Likes To Tease Its Fans with Creepy Videos
There were two videos on Raw last night that teased returns.
One of them was actually put on the show and advertised the return of Kane. The other one was advertised on a Twitter graphic on-screen that teases the return of a "familiar force" on Jan. 2, 2012.
Question on Everybody's Mind
Who is the mystery wrestler?
Our Take
Personally, I believe it will be Chris Jericho. The hot name is The Undertaker, but January seems too early for him to return. Jericho and WWE have been negotiating, but he made it sound like the deal didn't happen and he would never wrestle in WWE again.
