WWE Survivor Series 2011: 3 Reasons Pay-Per-View Is Worth the Money
The 25th anniversary of Survivor Series is just about here. This is one of the WWE's biggest events of the year, but that alone doesn't make it worth the money.
If the WWE expects you to spend your money on an event, they have to give you a reason to do so. You're not just going to fork out the money for the fun of it, are you?
Well, maybe you are, but that's not a practice I am familiar with.

A practice I am familiar with is spending money on something that looks appealing to me. Nothing appeals to me more about this card than these three things.
New York City
The Big Apple crowds just bring it in a big way. Something missing from the world of wrestling today is true crowd involvement. If there has ever been a deviation from that, I am not familiar with it.
So, how does a live crowd make someone more inclined to buy an event?
Well, a live crowd makes events better. Performers are inspired to go out and put out great efforts. When they do that, the overall show is better.
Even if there are a few matches on the card that don't interest you, the live crowd will at least make them passable.
It's not always predictable who the New York fans will cheer for. What is predictable is that they will be loud early and loud often. The show will be better because of it.
Mark Henry vs. the Big Show
I'd be lying if I told you that I was ever a big fan of Mark Henry's. It's not that he's terrible or anything; it's just that his style has just never quite worked for me.
Well, I am now starting to think that that perception on my end was from bad booking. Why? Because he's been booked great recently, and the character is maybe the best thing that the company has going right now.
This man is a genuine monster, and is in the middle of a title reign that's allowing him to show off his strength. He's not being thrown into stupid angles. He's playing a strong, scary man. That works.
The Big Show is a great opponent for him. His resume and pure size and strength makes him a great obstacle for Henry.
The way that their match ended at Vengeance only makes this one better. Look for a great payoff match between these two giants.
John Cena and the Rock
They're teammates here, and I can't believe that this is the last time we'll see the Rock before his match with Wrestlemania, but seeing how these two interact with each other is very exciting.
Wrestlemania is still a few months away, but this match has been booked since just after Wrestlemania XXVII. A few months more really isn't that much.
I'm not worried about ring rust on the part of the Rock. I know that he hasn't wrestled since 2004, but he was never a great in-ring technician. He can still work a crowd, which has always been where he's most valuable.
It will not only be fun to see how these two build their feud because of their names, but also because it means that Wrestlemania isn't that far away.
