Willis McGahee Injury: Updates on Broncos RB's Week 11 Status and Fantasy Value
Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee exited Sunday’s game early in the first quarter with a left hamstring injury.
McGahee is an absolute iron man and John Fox said that he could have reappeared in the game if there was an emergency.
Fantasy owners should be happy to know it is a day-to-day injury and he should be back for the upcoming game against the New York Jets.

Update: Thursday, Nov. 16 at 11:50 a.m. EDT
With just over eight hours before kick-off, McGahee's status for Week 11 is still unknown right now, but things are looking better for him as we move closer to the start of the game.
From Pro Football Talk's Evan Silva:
Considering the way that the Broncos offense works with Tim Tebow under center, they need all the running backs that they can get. McGahee will not be 100 percent for this game, but he sounds like he is at a point where he can help them.

After Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno went down on Sunday, there was even more concern regarding the hamstring of Willis McGahee. While nothing is set in stone, McGahee seems well on his way to playing on Thursday night against the New York Jets as he practiced on Tuesday, according to the Broncos' official Twitter feed.

Lindsay Jones has another update on McGahee.
The Broncos' have a short week before playing the Jets on Thursday night. Fortunately McGahee has been coming back from injuries very quickly this season and could be a safe fantasy play.
Keep it tuned here over the next few days to know his status for sure
Update: Monday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m. EDT
Lindsay Jones, Broncos beat writer for The Denver Post, reported that McGahee was on retainer Sunday for emergency purposes.
That was actually quite close to happening as backup RB Knowshon Moreno also went down with an injury early in the game and the Broncos new run-heavy offense was left with Tim Tebow and Lance Ball to shoulder the load.
The new offense was successful and led the Broncos to a 17-10 win over their division rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, despite Tebow only throwing two completions in his eight attempts.
Denver ran 55 times for 244 yards and a score, with Ball receiving the majority of touches.
Expect McGahee to get an extremely heavy workload if he can go against the Jets.
It certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see him come back from this injury quickly. He recovered from a hand surgery that was supposed to sideline him a few games in just a single week.
