Steelers vs. Ravens: 3 Halftime Adjustments for Pittsburgh
In a game ruled by defense on both sides, the Steelers are losing to the Ravens 9-6 at halftime. Pittsburgh has not resembled the team that dominated the Patriots in Week 8, and have several things it can improve upon in the second half.
Build an Offensive Rhythm
The Steelers have struggled converting third downs and allowed Baltimore to dominate the play clock. Without two of their starting linebackers out in James Farrior and LaMarr Woodley, it’s important that Big Ben leads longer drives so the defense can stay fresh. If the defense tires, Ray Rice could break out for a big second half.

Find Mike Wallace
Pittsburgh’s most explosive deep threat has been silent so far. Though Ben Roethlisberger has connected with Antonio Brown for a couple big catches, it’s important to get Wallace going to keep Ed Reed and the Baltimore secondary honest.
Don’t give Flacco confidence
Joe Flacco has had a very rough few weeks coming into this one, so allowing him to get into any sort of rhythm does not bode well for the home team. Though he narrowly avoided a pick in the red zone, Baltimore’s quarterback already has double-digit completions, and has made it look easy. The secondary needs to start playing more like it did against the Patriots.
