Broncos vs. Raiders: 5 Halftime Adjustments Denver Must Make
Last week was not pretty.
But today, the Denver Broncos have a shot at redemption as they take on the slumping Oakland Raiders in a heated AFC West rivalry match.
Can Tim Tebow rebound from his atrocious performance against the Lions, or will this spell the end for the Tebow experiment in Denver?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We should be in for an interesting finish, and if the Broncos want to come away with the win, they must make the five following adjustments at the half.
Cut the Stupid Mistakes
The Broncos need to cut out their unforced errors in the second half. They have already been flagged for a number of crucial holding and delay of game penalties, not to mention the muffed punt that resulted in an Oakland touchdown.
Denver needs to clean up their act in the second half if they want to win this game.
Stuff the Run
The Broncos need to focus on stopping the run in the second half. In their first meeting with Oakland, they were burned on the ground by RB Darren McFadden. With the Raiders' star back out of the game, Denver has a huge opportunity to stuff RB Michael Bush and force Oakland to look elsewhere for offense.
Wrap Up
Denver needs to concentrate on making the first tackle in the second half. Oakland has already broken off a couple of long gains due to spotty Denver tackling.
Enough with the shoulder hits and flashy tackles. Wrap up.
Decision Making
This is an obvious one, but if there has been one constant knock on Tebow, it's been his lack of sound decision making. In the second half Tebow MUST make split-second decisions and quickly get the ball out of his hands. Expect the Raiders to bring a variety of pressure in the second half, and Tebow must avoid turnovers and properly manage the game if the Broncos want any chance of winning.
Let Tebow Be Tebow
If Denver is going to put Tebow at QB, they must let him do what he does best. In the second half the Broncos need to continue to open up their playbook and let Tebow make plays with his athleticism and legs.
It seems at times that Coach John Fox is doing everything in his power to take the ball out of Tebow's hands. But if Tebow is used in the right way, he can truly be a nightmare for defenses.
