Fantasy Football Week 9 Injury Report: Late Replacements for Nicks and Bradshaw
The New York Giants' two best skill-position players will be out this week for the team's crucial Week 9 showdown with the New England Patriots.
Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw are both dealing with injuries and will not be on the field today for a team that has arguably the roughest schedule in the league over the next six games.
It also hurts fantasy owners of these two players, as they consistently produce and put up big numbers on a weekly basis.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Now with the fantasy playoffs just a few short weeks away, owners of Nicks and Bradshaw must scramble to replace them today. They haven’t got to look farther than the Giants’ own roster.
Here are two replacements for each player that will be seeing time today against the Pats.
Ramses Barden WR
This 6’6” beast of a receiver is finally off the PUP List after not playing in an NFL game for almost a year.
The third-year veteran will be active and most likely the No. 3 receiver on the roster behind Mario Mannigham and Victor Cruz.
He could be poised for a breakout game against the awful New England pass defense.
Jerrel Jernigan WR
At 5’9”, Jernigan isn’t very imposing for defensive backs to look at from the line of scrimmage.
But Jernigan is a playmaker with the ball and could break off a home-run play against the Patriots defense. He is expected to see more action than usual in this game and will look to get his first NFL catch.
Jacobs is most likely gone in your fantasy league, but you must pick him up if he is available.
He is one of the largest backs in the league and has a bruising style of rushing that will guarantee him at least one touchdown today.
D.J. Ware RB
Ware is much like Ahmad Bradshaw. The two have a similar height, build and play style, which would make him a viable candidate to replace some of Bradshaw’s touches.
I expect Jacobs to get the lion’s share of the carries, but if he fails to perform—like he has done before—Ware would be next in line to pound the rock for the G-Men.
