NFL Week 9 Picks: Predicting the Week's Most Devastating Losses
Losing a tough game is one thing, but a devastating loss can completely ruin a team's confidence, even if the game isn't a blowout.
The following three games aren't lopsided in terms of the scoreboard, but more so in terms of who controlled the tempo, was more physical and gave more effort. Demoralization in its truest form.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Bears fall on the road to Philadelphia because they simply lack dynamicism on offense. RB Matt Forte is by far their best player, and rightfully so, but he's not going to take over a game by himself.
Especially against an Eagles team that's been gaining confidence about as quick as anyone in the league. Their pass defense has been solid all year, but the run defense is beginning to come around.
And to know that isolating Forte is the key to stopping Chicago's offense, well, more power to them. Philadelphia also has the NFL's No. 1-ranked rushing offense, so they will try to slam it down into Chicago's face early on and often.
The Bears prove to only bend until late, as that's when the Eagles really begin to dominate.

San Diego Chargers (vs. Green Bay)
San Diego's biggest flaw is winning against average teams or better. Kansas City is the best team they've defeated, but that came back in Week 3 when the Chiefs were just beginning to figure out their identity after Weeks 1 and 2.
But, the Green Bay Packers know their identity, and that's to effectively move the chains at will. They may not be a run-first type of offense, but the cheese can pound the rock whenever they so choose thanks to their passing game.
On the Chargers side, QB Philip Rivers continues to play lackluster football and there's no explosion in their offense. Green Bay may be vulnerable to the pass, but their pass-rush will have Rivers frustrated all day—not to mention Green Bay is much better at special teams with Randall Cobb returning.

New York Jets (at Buffalo)
The Jets and Bills are practically even when New York's offense is on the field, because Buffalo's defense is prone to giving up points.
That said, Buffalo is very good at forcing turnovers and, much to every Jets fans' dismay, Mark Sanchez happens to be under center (if only it was the postseason, as Sanchez plays much better there). As for when the Bills offense has the rock, the Jets do have a solid pass defense.
But, their rush defense is still very susceptible against great rushing teams and that happens to be Buffalo's strength. RB Fred Jackson is just one of two backs currently averaging over 100 yards per game this season (LeSean McCoy), and he will devastate Rex Ryan's front seven.
In turn, that will set up the play-action later on and Buffalo gets another important divisional victory.
