WWE Raw News: Plans for Mick Foley on November 14th Leaked (With Analysis)
PWInsider.com is reporting that local ads in Boston list Mick Foley as a special guest referee on the November 14th edition of Raw Gets Rocked, a three-hour, live extravaganza heading into the Survivor Series pay-per-view on the 20th.
This news is somewhat surprising considering the fact that WWE.com recently took down any mention of Foley being on that particular edition of Raw. The company probably decided to not spoil Foley's return, thus keeping things fresh and spontaneous heading into the Survivor Series.
As for his involvement in the show, one could surmise that the Hardcore Legend will referee the main event. That's after he is reintroduced to the WWE audience in the first or second segment of the broadcast.

Interaction with The Rock is practically guaranteed given their history as The Rock 'n' Sock Connection.
As for his participation at Survivor Series, it would behoove the WWE to add Foley as a third wheel to The Rock and Cena coalition. On the heel side of The Awesome Truth, either Chris Jericho—if he can be lured back for a one-shot deal—or Booker T—who is slated to return to the ring soon—would be a suitable addition.
By making it a six-man tag match at Survivor Series with two new competitors, the WWE would be able to whitewash the poor booking of The Miz and R-Truth, whose portrayals have abjectly failed to stack up as credible foes to an All-Star team crossing two eras and generations.
Otherwise, despite The Rock returning to the ring after seven years, the main event tag match as scheduled underwhelms quite a bit.
It's like being told to watch Kobe Bryant and LeBron James face off against Luke Walton and Richard Jefferson. Walton and Jefferson have a lot of chemistry together, but nobody is interested in seeing the inevitable massacre.
The marketability of any match, or tag contest, is established to the degree by which the challengers complement their opponents.
In The Miz and R-Truth's case, a blatant lack of credibility—in relation to The Rock and John Cena— necessitates a new wrinkle.
And if it's not a six-man tag affair, then Mick Foley should at least be the referee of the match.
