WWE Vengeance 2011 Predictions: Sheamus Will Beat Christian to Continue Momentum
Sheamus has been on quite a roll lately, and that will continue at Vengeance when he makes easy work of Christian. It's a win that should catapult the Great White into the World Heavyweight Title picture.
One of the more disappointing character builds over the past few months has been Christian becoming a whiny brat who is seemingly afraid of everybody. After a strong early-summer feud with Randy Orton, he's fallen pretty far down the pecking order since losing the title.
While it's understandable that there's only so much room in the title picture, making Christian fall from the mountain's peak to somebody who would probably run away from Hornswoggle seems like a bit much.

On the flip side, Sheamus continues to look like a dominant force set for an extended title run. Remember, he was one of Mark Henry's first victims to enter the Hall of Pain at SummerSlam when the World's Strongest Man put him through a barricade and Sheamus couldn't get back into the ring.
If there weren't bigger plans for those two guys, the WWE probably would have allowed Henry to go over clean. By making him win via count out at one of the company's marquee events, it left the door open for a future feud revival.
Regardless of what happens between Henry and Big Show on Sunday, it has all the makings of a triple-threat match for the title at Survivor Series.
It could be billed as a battle of three Goliaths, with the winner being a true survivor. And since Henry and Show are both limited in terms of in-ring ability, it would allow Sheamus to shine brightly and likely take control of the World Heavyweight Championship.
The WWE has done everything possible, including teaming him up with the company's top faces, to get Sheamus over with the crowd, and it's worked well so far. Having him lose to Christian would ruin months of storyline building, and that's highly unlikely.
On an otherwise unpredictable card, Sheamus appears to be a guaranteed winner.
