Tim Tebow Will Prove Value as Leader Throughout 2011 Season
A touchdown is a touchdown. A 20-yard gain is a 20-yard gain. A sack is a sack, and an interception is an interception.
What's the point of saying all of that?
Well, it's just to say that there is no "classic" way to do things. Ideally, who wouldn't want a Tom Brady to start at quarterback for their team? Nobody. Nobody that I can think of anyway.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The problem is that there is only one Tom Brady. More than that, he plays on a team that allows him to drop back, stay in the pocket and find his receivers.
Would anyone really care to claim that the Broncos are the same kind of team? If Tim Tebow was on the Patriots, I would say that he's not a good fit, even if Bill Belichick liked him in 2010.
The fact that Tebow runs around more will work better for the team that he has around him. This isn't a knock on Brady, but the Broncos would not be 5-1 (as the Patriots are) with Brady as the quarterback.
Kyle Orton was not the reason that the Broncos lost. He didn't help, but the team is awful.
At Florida, Tebow proved that he was a good leader. The Gators just wouldn't have been as successful as they were if Tebow didn't have any leadership ability.
Yes, I know that college and the NFL are different. But being on a bad team, Tebow is worthy of an opportunity to prove himself.
Too much has been made about the fact that he lacks the classic skill set by people like Merril Hoge.
Tebow was a good leader in college, and has proven that he's capable of leading teams. Now, that doesn't mean that he'll have the same NFL success that he had at Florida. Still, he's being written off too quickly by people like Hoge.
I don't think Denver will have a very good record this season. Still, I do think that they will end the season with a reason to believe that 2012 and beyond offers more promise.
