Tim Tebow: Broncos' New Era of Success Will Just Be a Mirage
Tim Tebow is essentially a mirage, and any success, if any, that comes under his era as starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos will be an illusion.
Tebow is not a legitimate starting quarterback in the NFL, and sooner or later he is going to be exposed.
Tebow is many things, but a staring NFL quarterback should not be on that list.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He's a great leader and seems to be an overall good guy. Not only that, but he's an excellent playmaker.
Being a playmaker is fine and dandy for quarterbacks in college, just look at Denard Robinson as an example. But it doesn't pass in the NFL.
A good starting quarterback in the NFL has to do so much more than make plays.
Sure, leadership, character and talent all play into it, but so does one vital ingredient that Tebow doesn't posses: skill.
Tebow does not have the skills to be an NFL quarterback.
Now, if your thinking that talent and skill are the same thing, you are completely wrong.
There are plenty of quarterbacks that possess the talent to throw the ball, run around and even score touchdowns.
There are only a handful that have the ability to utilize their natural skills, though.
By that I mean all the things that make the great ones great: accuracy, fundamentals, quickness, release and follow-through.
There have been exceptions, but most if not all of the greats have possessed these things.
How many times have you watched Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady throw, or perhaps seen a clip of one of the greats, and you can't do anything but marvel at the beauty of it.
It doesn't have to be the deepest, quickest or strongest throw ever, but there is something about it that just makes you know it's great.
That's the skill that Tebow doesn't possess.
He's tried to conquer his throwing motion, but under pressure it always goes back to that odd side-arm hitch and heave.
That alone won't allow him to ever have the accuracy or fluidity of a great quarterback, and in today's NFL, that's enough to give an instant advantage to a defense.
In the end, the Broncos will need to search for a real quarterback.
Denver has turned to him in a moment of desperation, and to perhaps silence a whining fanbase, but I doubt that the organization is looking at Tebow as a long-term option.
He very well may go out and win this game against Miami. In fact, I expect him to and would be shocked if he didn't.
That being said, it will just be a mirage of success from a sub-par NFL quarterback.
