Week 7 Waiver Wire: Should You Pick Up James Jones or Andy Dalton?
Some of the hardest moments as a fantasy football owner come from deciding whether or not you should pick a player off the waiver wire.
Even the least experienced fantasy football owner can draft a top-notch running back or quarterback in the first round—it takes a true professional to be able to pull off some of the waiver wire transactions that can literally make or break a season.
However, even the best owners have a hard time making decisions sometimes. That's where we here at Bleacher Report come in.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is a question mark in the eyes of some, as is Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones.
Here's a breakdown of these two players and their fantasy value, so you can determine whether or not you want them on your teams:
Andy Dalton, QB Bengals
Dalton is now officially the undisputed leader and quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals. Right off the bat, I have to wonder how that will impact him.
Carson Palmer is out of the picture—not that he was exactly in it before—but I think Dalton will react well to being "the guy" moving into the future.
So far, he's thrown for 1,311 yards and 11 touchdowns, which is pretty good considering how he looked in the preseason. The five interceptions are a problem, but I have to assume that he will only get better with time.
It helps that Dalton has a receiver of the caliber of A.J. Green on his side, but he's still far too inconsistent to trust right now.
He's going to be on most waiver wires. If you're already preparing for next season and you're in a keeper league, I would consider picking him up if you have the room.
James Jones, WR Packers
Jones could have gone anywhere as a free agent, but he decided to stay with the Green Bay Packers, where he is the third or fourth option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers at wide receiver.
That really hurt his fantasy stock, but he is starting to make somewhat of a comeback as of late.
Rodgers is starting to look to him more often as he continues to make big-time plays. The truth of the matter is that he's a huge mismatch against other defense's corners.
He would be a second or borderline No. 1 option on a lot of teams in this league. The fact that his talent is going up against weaker corners makes him very dangerous.
I would pick him up and use him for matchups, or as your flex option.
