Week 6 Fantasy Football Projections: Reggie Wayne and More Trade Deadline Heroes
There is no doubt that the NFL trade deadline has a huge impact on fantasy football, and Week 6 of the 2011 NFL season is going to prove just that.
There are a few notable fantasy producers and big-time players out there that are starting to be mentioned on the NFL trade blocks.
What does that mean for your fantasy football league?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Simply put, everything.
Week 6 will feature potential trade bait that will be stepping up their game in an effort to stand out.
If they're really on the trade block, they might as well shine on it.
Not only that, but I firmly believe that players on any of the teams speculated to be interested in a trade will also step up their game in an effort to make the case for a big trade.
It is important to note that at this point all of these trades are just speculation around the league, but here are a few players to step up and produce in fantasy football during this trade deadline weekend:
Reggie Wayne, WR Colts:
Wayne has been one of the better receivers in the league for a very long time. His numbers have really taken a hit in 2011, but I think it's more to do with the loss of Peyton Manning than it is his skills. He is speculated to potentially be on the trading block and I like the matchup he's got with the Bengals this weekend.
Cam Newton, QB Panthers:
Reports surfacing out of Denver are that the Broncos are shopping around their star wideout Brandon Lloyd. One of the teams connected to this potential trade is Cam Newton's Carolina Panthers. How good would Lloyd look catching long balls from Newton across from Steve Smith. This would be a huge move for the Panthers, and I think Newton will play even better, if possible, to try to prove to his team that it's worth the risk.
Steve Smith, WR Panthers:
The same concept I used with Newton applies with Smith. Even though Lloyd would probably make a case to be the No. 1 receiver over Smith, it would make Smith's job significantly easier. Smith would get a lot more open looks, and wouldn't have to carry the load at wide receiver.
