NFL Power Rankings: Eagles and Jets Feature in Week 6 Must-Win Games
Green is the new the blue.
Well, blue in the sense that teams wearing green (Jets and Eagles) are down and out on their luck.
And unfortunately, luck doesn't have a lot to do with it.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Both teams just happen to be playing bad football all the way around and they deserve to lose.
Now, as we enter Week 6, both teams face must-win scenarios much earlier than they ever expected.
Philadelphia Eagles
This is the last time I will talk about the prematurely dubbed "Dream Team" in that context. It was foolish for anyone to believe that big money buys wins in the NFL. If that were the case, Daniel Snyder's Redskins would top the NFC East every year.
Instead, this 1-4 Eagles team is off to a horrendous start and blame deserves to be thrown all the way around. The players are the No. 1 culprit as they are obviously the ones on the field, but they are not alone.
Andy Reid deserves plenty of the blame for doing, arguably, his worst coaching job in a decade.
And the fans also deserve a knock for honestly believing that a quarterback who has never had back-to-back successful seasons as a starter would suddenly buck that trend.
In Week 6, the Eagles will keep their show on the road and travel to Washington for a must-win NFC East showdown.
There may be no better time for such an opportunity. If the Eagles drop to 1-5 and lose another division game they can mail in their postseason chances. If the Eagles can't beat a mediocre Redskins team surviving by the skin of their teeth on a weekly basis then they have no business talking playoffs.
New York Jets
Gang Green almost looked like they were going to run the football well at times yesterday. Instead, they finished the game with 97 rushing yards a 3.9 yards per carry average.
To make matters worse, they couldn't stop the run on defense and were out-gained by nearly 200 yards of total offense.
The loss in Foxborough wasn't necessarily shocking, but it puts the Jets in a huge bind for Week 6.
They've lost three straight on the road and finally return home only to see the Dolphins visit on Monday Night Football.
As bad as the Dolphins have been this year it is still a rivalry game on a national stage.
If the Jets overlook this game they will be in trouble, especially considering the Dolphins are coming off a bye.
Getting back into the playoff picture in both the AFC East and the conference as a whole starts with a win over the Dolphins for the Jets. If they fail to do that then they have even bigger problems than initially thought.
