NFL Power Rankings: San Diego Chargers and 3 Most Vulnerable 1-Loss Teams
If the Detroit Lions lose to the Chicago Bears on Monday night, the Green Bay Packers will be the only undefeated team left in the NFL.
After them, it will be a host of one-loss teams, all of whom will have plenty of arguments to be deemed a better team than the next. After all, just because their records will say they are equal doesn't mean they are equal.
It's true, of course. No matter how many one-loss teams we have when Week 5 comes to a close, not all of them will be on the same level.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
To give you an idea, here are three one-loss teams that are on shakier ground than others.
3. Washington Redskins (No. 8)
The only problem with the Redskins is that we don't know anything more about them now than we did a week ago. We can blame their bye week for that.
At any rate, what we knew about the Redskins last week is that they are a good team, but a far cry from being a great team. They may be 3-1, but the only win of the three that is truly impressive was their 28-14 beating of the New York Giants in Week 1.
For now, the Redskins have been getting by on their defense, which has had no trouble handling the weak offenses it has been tasked with stopping. My concern is what will be revealed about the Redskins when they finally go up against a superior offensive team.
We'll find out soon enough. The Redskins will host the Philadelphia Eagles before hitting the road to take on the Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills. All three teams can put points on the scoreboard, and the Redskins' seemingly excellent defense will be put to the test.
2. New Orleans Saints (No. 5)
I really, really want to like the Saints. And for the most part, I do.
That being said, the 2011 Saints are looking more like the Saints of 2010 than the Saints of 2009. This is to say that they are good, but hardly dominant. Despite all the talent the Saints have, they sure have had to work hard for their four wins.
For now, everything is working out well enough. My concern is how the Saints are going to hold up once we get closer to the end of the season. If they play too many of these close, hard-fought games, I worry the Saints are going to be all washed up by the time the playoffs roll around.
You know, kinda like they were last year.
1. San Diego Chargers (No. 7)
The Chargers are 4-1, but they're a lot like the Saints in that they really haven't made it easy on themselves.
The troubling part is that the Chargers have done this despite a very, very easy schedule through the first five weeks of the season. The four teams they've beaten have a combined record of 4-15, and none of the wins was particularly convincing.
As much as I like what the Chargers can run out there on offense and defense, I wonder just how well they're going to hold up against the better teams in the league. And as we all know, when the going gets tough, Norv Turner does nothing.
So we'll see. This could end up being yet another disappointing year in San Diego.
