Week 5 Start Em Sit Em: DeSean Jackson and 4 Toughest Choices
Each week in fantasy football there are always tough decisions about who to start and sit.
It even becomes more crucial as the bye weeks commence, because you may then have to decide between two bench players.
In any event, there's no denying that every roster change will affect the outcome of whether you win or lose, so to that end here are four of the toughest choices to start/sit.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Don't worry, there will be a "start/sit" decision for each player after their segment.
DeSean Jackson: WR, Eagles (at Bills)
Despite only scoring one TD this season, DeSean Jackson has compiled 324 yards on 16 catches, but 12 of those receptions and 273 of those yards came in Weeks 1 and 4.
In Weeks 2 and 3 he only amasses four catches for 51 yards, so the question is; Which DeSean Jackson shows up in Week 5?
Well, the Eagles are in a desperate win situation and Buffalo is vulnerable after their first loss, not to mention the Bills only rank No. 25 in rush and pass defense.
Jackson's not going to completely throttle the Buffalo defense, but he will contribute enough to help Philly win and earn you some solid fantasy points.
Start DeSean Jackson (but only as the No. 2/3 WR or Flex)
Cam Newton: QB, Panthers (vs Saints)
So far this season, Panthers QB Cam Newton has accounted for nine TDs (five pass, four rush) and six turnovers (five picks, one fumble).
He's thrown for over 350 yards three times, and 400 yards twice, and has a current rating of 84.5.
This week against the Saints Newton could potentially have another solid outing, as New Orleans ranks No. 19 in pass defense.
The question is whether Newton is worth the start over you're No. 1 QB, since there's a good chance New Orleans comes in looking to control the clock (speaking of the next guy on this list).
Obviously it depends on who your No. 1 QB is, however, even though Newton should have a decent game this week (250 yards, one TD), but it's safer to bench him as he's due to slow down for a little bit.
Sit Cam Newton unless your No. 1 QB is someone like Matt Cassel, or Mark Sanchez.
Mark Ingram: RB, Saints (at Panthers)
If you need a No. 2 RB or a flex spot for Week 5, Saints rookie RB Mark Ingram is a solid choice.
He's leading New Orleans in attempts (53), yards (184), and has scored one TD as well as moving the chains 12 times.
Ingram's also acting as the same Brahma Bulls that he was with Alabama, where he was strictly a ground and pound RB, as opposed to being the change of pace back.
And this week he and the New Orleans offense go up against a Panthers' defense that ranks No. 31 is rush and No. 6 in pass yards allowed.
Also, with Carolina having the No. 3 ranked passing offense, you can anticipate coach Sean Payton relying on the ground game even more in Week 5.
He knows his offense can score at anytime with QB Drew Brees under center, but limiting Cam Newton's opportunities as well as controlling the game tempo is crucial on the road.
This will be Ingram's first big test, but as he did with the Crimson Tide, expect him to produce some good numbers.
Start Mark Ingram as the No. 2 RB (if you don't have an obvious choice), but definitely start him at the flex spot.
Dexter McCluster: WR/RB, Chiefs (at Colts)
The only concern about starting Chiefs' hybrid offensive player Dexter McCluster is that he's only going to receive so many touches per game, regardless of the matchup.
He's not going to be the ground and pound RB like Thomas Jones, but with Jamaal Charles out he will see more targets either way.
That said, K.C. travels to Indy and plays the winless Colts who have a solid defense despite all their injuries.
QB Matt Cassel will be under duress quite often, and it'll be difficult getting a rushing attack going against their sound front seven.
However, McCluster is also one of the more exciting players in the game as he can break it open at anytime (like against San Diego in Week 1 last year).
Of those mentioned Dexter is the toughest decision, but he must sit unless you virtually have no other rather favorable matchups.
Sit Dexter McCluster, but only start him at the flex spot if you need a last resort.
