Week 5 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Marques Colston and 3 WRs You Must Sit
Even big names or smart waiver wire pickups don't make good every-week starters, no matter how excited about them you might be.
Take, for example, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston.
Colston, who returned to the field last week after breaking his collarbone in Week 1, participated in just 20 of the team's 81 offensive snaps.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Head coach Sean Payton said this week that the wideout is fully healthy and should have an increased role in the Saints' offense against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. However, I recommend his fantasy owners to maintain a wait-and-see approach with him.
That means, should you have sufficient depth, Colston should remain on your bench this week. Until it's become clear that he will be a major contributor to the Saints offense, and has proven that he can put up fantasy points, I'd steer clear.
There's also the matter of the Panthers defense to consider.
They've not done much to impress. However, overall, they've quietly become one of the most dominant squads when matched up against No. 1 and No. 2 wide receivers. Considering this fact, and that Saints quarterback Drew Brees has a number of reliable targets, it might be a slow, low-scoring week for Colston.
New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham has been held to low production this season. While he missed one game while dealing with a concussion, he returned to the team's starting rotation only to be benched in favor of Victor Cruz.
While it appears he will get the start over Cruz this week, a rotation between the two is possible. Of course, the fact that the Seattle Seahawks are coming to town makes for a tasty matchup, but the fact that Cruz will factor in the Giants' offensive plans at the expense of Manningham makes him a risky start.
So far this season, Manningham has just eight receptions for 115 yards; certainly, not the kind of production his fantasy owners expected out of the receiver. If you start him, there are no guarantees he will have a big game, nor that he won't yet again lose out to Cruz. If you have the option, I'd suggest benching Manningham for Week 5.
The Chicago Bears' No. 1 wide receiver, Johnny Knox, has risen this season to a viable third fantasy wide receiver. However, against the Detroit Lions, he becomes a major risk.
Last week, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler threw just 17 passes. That was partly due to a dominant day by running back Matt Forte, but also because the Bears just can't get much going in the air at all so far this season.
Against the Lions, Cutler will be under duress again, which makes any Bears receiver a poor fantasy option. The only thing in Knox's benefit is that Chicago will spend most of the game playing from behind, meaning Cutler will have significantly more passing attempts than he did in Week 4.
That being said, the Lions defense is in the Top 10 against No. 1 wide receivers. Even if Cutler starts throwing to play catchup on Monday night, Knox might not be the most reliable target. Chances are you have the roster depth to substitute another player for Knox. If that's the case, I highly recommend it.
