Fantasy Football Week 5: Ray Rice and 3 Must-Starters on Bye
The bye weeks are here and they bring in a time when you have to sit your favorite players because they are at home sitting on their couches, just like you.
We all know that you are a busy fantasy football owner. You have a lot of things on your plate right now, so realizing both of your starting running backs have gotten you zero points for the week because they were on a bye week isn’t something that you should have to go through.
This is the first week for these teams to take a week off. There aren’t a lot of players that will impact fantasy rosters, but, there are some first round draft picks that will affect a number of fantasy players.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So hopefully this gives you a heads up, so that Sunday Night/ Monday Morning when you are checking your roster you won’t want to throw your computer out of the window due to your mistake.
Colt McCoy, Quarterback, Cleveland Browns
Colt is still available in a lot of fantasy leagues, which is amazing since he has averaged 15 points per game this year. But, this isn’t a good week to add the Cleveland quarterback as they’re off.
McCoy is a good backup quarterback to have on your roster when a starter like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Michael Vick are on their own byes.
Tony Romo, Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys
This bye week should make Romo owners very happy. Not only does it give Romo a chance to heal all of his injuries, but, it will give Romo owners a week without the quarterback giving them negative points due to turnovers.
Coming off the bye week, expect Romo to be just as injured, but also be a little bit more careful with the ball.
Ray Rice, Running Back, Baltimore Ravens
Ray Rice has been the best player on this Ravens team so far. He’s been able to carry the team through his running game and a surprising ability as a pass-catching running back.
Rice leads the team in receiving this year with 16 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns. These stats go with his 297 yards rushing and two touchdowns from his running game.
That’s four scores in four games with over 500 yards of offense that his fantasy owners will have to make up this week with free agents or people from their bench.
